Another tiring weekend spent at the craft show, and it's good to be back home again. The last one was on Memorial Day weekend and lasted 3 days. This one was just Saturday and Sunday. And there was not nearly as much traffic for this one as for the last one. I made about half of what I did at the previous one, but we only had motel expense for one night this time, so it ended up being pretty productive. I guess the thing I learned from this show is that even a poor weekend craft show in Ruidoso is still better than any other show I have done. The weather was fantastic! And I got to visit with some of the other vendors a little more than at the last one, so it was kind of a more easy going show this time. Here are the pics. This is me showing one of the other vendors how the light pulls are put together. Real nice guy and a great neighbor to have at the show. Trying to show a pic of the stopper display and the light pulls display. And here is my exterior decorator/financial manager Here is a better pic of the light pull display we came up with. It is an antler with a hole drilled and tapped in it for a bottle stopper. The perfect seal bottle stopper works real well for this since is can be tightened up real securely in the bottle. I filled the bottle about 3/4 full of sand to give it some weight. I knew I wanted the pulls to be hanging, and this was what I came up with for them.

Thanks Boodrow. I can always count on you to make me smile We got all of 2 hours sleep before heading up to Ruidoso for the craft show and only stayed one night, and I'm an ol' phart, so the score was like a lot of soccer games - nothing and nothing

Good idea with the antlers! Was wondering how you were going to do that.
Nice lookin' young lady you got there!

Thanks guys. Scott, you just made a life-long friend with that "young lady" remark ;D Boodrow, I know just how lucky I am to have a financial adviser instead of a war department She is a real big help to me with my hobby. Mav, I was very happy with the results of this last show. I look at it like I got paid to go enjoy a weekend in the mountains and I get to buy some more neat stuff. In some ways this more laid back craft show was more enjoyable than the real busy one.

Hey Doug,
the setup looks great! I really like how the light pull display looks. It must have been a horribly awefully hot day in Ruidoso this time of the year, LOL. Man it is gorgeous this time of the year up there, beats the heat and stinking chiggers me and Scott got into this weekend.

Thanks Les! Emerson, it really is fantastic weather in Ruidoso this time of year. I guess that is why so many Texans end up there I'll bet 90% of the customers at the craft show are Texans...a lot from El Paso, which you would expect, but lots of folks from all over Texas.
