I have a 6" Bosch sander that came with an H&L pad. I cannot find H&L pads in my area. Plenty of PSA but no H&L. Does anyone make a Pad with H&L on one side and PSA on the other so I can use PSA discs on this sander?

Not sure about the H&L/PSA pad - but this would solve your problem about not having 6" H&L sanding discs in your area. www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_4_5?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=mirka+6+inch+6+hole&x=0&y=0&sprefix=MirkaI know that $20 (or more) sounds like a lot for a box of sanding discs, but honestly - it's a pretty good deal compared to what I pay at a big box store for regular plain Jane 3M discs. It's a small investment but it should last you a long time. I've only used a the Mirka discs a little bit but I can say they do as good a job or better than the regular 3M and last the same or longer - maybe a little loner actually. I love the 3M Sandblaster paper - that's what I use for sanding blocks and I cut it into strips to sand on the lathe, but for discs I just use the Mirka stuff. Zac

I was sure that Home Despot and Lowes both carried 6" H&L pads in the power tool department because I've picked them up by mistake before. I don't know where you are but, Are there any populous places in the USA farther than 20 miles from one of those two?

I have a Home Depot, Lowes and Harbor Freight all within 30 minutes driving from the house but none of them carry the H&L pads in 6"dia. I've checked many times just to be sure.
I'll probably end up ordering online.

Talk to the fellas at Lowe's. They may be able to order them for ya, and ya won't have to pay shipping. I get some from www.supergrit.com from time to time. Course I just drive there since it's an hour away. I buy 6" psa for my delta disc sander. Get belts there too. Not to bad for price either. Tom

I've ordered from these folks and was impressed with the price and service. They manufactured a drive belt for my Performax: www.industrialabrasives.com/Tom, they're in Reading ... practically neighbors of yours!
