That's a lovely set of earrings Doug!! *snicker* nah man - I'm glad Boodrow steered my towards light pulls - they are fun to make and seem like them might sell well.
Well..... either earrings or wardrobe at that Nevada brothel (you fill in the blanks) - either way, nice work Doug!

Maybe a quick trip to a lighting center type place with some of those in hand could generate some sales?
Thinking that would be a great item on a table to give you some bling too!!! How do you display those? Got a stand like the bottle stopper display??
Very cool!

Good looking light pulls!
Would a woman get mad if you pulled on her tassels?

LMAO at all you wannabe comedians! ;D Zac, that was a good one, and now we are even...until the next time On a more serious note, 2 out of the 3 Pine Cone pulls sold, and they generated a lot of interest. I priced them at $30.00 which might be a little too high, but I am not willing to make them for any less, so I am still very happy with the results and will be making more of them before the next craft show. Thanks for all the comments everyone, and especially for all the laughs...I had several out loud laughs from y'all.

Doug 30 dollars isnt to high for them, if folks only knew what it involves. Bet they wouldnt work that cheap. Not countin wear and tear on machinery and what the supplies cost. With that bein said , Ive sold 6 at 20 each. I dont think there is anyway I could get 30 for them. U think u will have any takers for demo of them? ;D Boodrow

what is the lite colored wood on top of the lamination? I almost missed this question...the light colored wood I used was Western Cedar for 2 of them and Dogwood on the other. If I remember correctly, these two pulls have one of each of those woods. For the record, I liked the Dogwood a little better than the Cedar.

Maple would be a great choice Boodrow. Though I have to say that the Dogwood really looks good. I don't think it really matters as long as it is a light colored wood for contrast.
