I was not inclined to post a pic of this one because it is really not one I care for at all. But I learned from it and hopefully the next one will be better. This kit is a Slimline PRO - something new, at least to me, and it uses an 8MM tube instead of the normal 7MM tube used by a regular slimline. For the Pentel pencil, I need to use 8MM tube kits only, and they have to be "click" style. This is a pen kit, but I wanted to try it with the Pentel pencil because it is relatively inexpensive (I will have to discard the majority of the kit pieces and replace them with the Pentel "guts"). But, I turned the barrels way too big so they don't match up well with the Pentel nib. Next time I will "slim" them down considerably. So, this one is a failure and a waste of some very nice BOW wood, but sometimes this happens. The bad thing is that this makes 2 days in a row I have had results that I am not happy with The reason to post this is to show that things don't always turn out the way you want them to (pun intended) ;D I'm not discouraged because I know what I need to do to get better results and in the long run, this was just a minor glitch in the whole scheme of things. Let me know what you think. I promise I won't be offended

It IS just a bit "thumpy" down where yer fingers get onto it to use it, isn't it? Ah, well - it's still pretty as heck, though. I keep running into "BOW", and wrack my brain as I am, I can't figure out what it is. Clue, please?

Yep, Bethlehem Olive Wood. It even comes with an authentification certificate. Apparently they have to prune the Olive orchards ever so often and the branches are used to make these beautiful pen blanks. I got mine from Monty by the way. www.woodenwonderstx.com/store/index.htmlThe only problem I have with Monty's BOW is that his blanks are a full 7/8" square which makes me really want to try to get 2 pens out of each one...it is so hard to just turn that much beautiful wood into sawdust

Thanks Chris. Yes this is definitely a good pen/pencil kit for guys who prefer a somewhat larger pen.
