We don't have very good access to the normal tool stores locally. Nearest Lowes is 50 miles, nearest HF 90 miles, HD about 75 but we do have a Black and Decker place in a small mall that sells reconditioned tools. Lately they are stocking PC tools. They have a lithium 18 volt set, screw driver, impact driver and a flashlight reconditioned for $140. It looks just like new. Anybody have any idea if they are worth that?? I'm thinking Lowes have the same thing new for $200.

I don't know anything about the set you're looking at, Fred.
I just want to comment on Zac's "I don't get hungup on the flashlight thing"
I didn't either, but now that I have a couple of 'em (they came in kits, PC 12v, Bosch 18v), I would hate to be without 'em. We have 6-8 flashlights scattered all over the house. I can't tell you where any of them are, BUT, I know for sure my Bosch & PC are out in the shop right next to the charging station.
The flashlights aren't a selling point, one way or the other, but they sure are are handy.

I agree with Deepsplinter about the lights. I know exactly where they are, always have some charged batteries, and grab these lights for the house when I know a storm is coming.

Thanks for the comeback. About those lights, I have a little shelf with holes in it behind the lathe. I can take out a couple tools and set one of those flashlights on it and send a beam of light inside a bowl. I'm not sure I will get them, all I really need is the impact driver.

Dewalt is my favorite cordless brand, but PC is right up there.
