finish. especially when your to the final coat. especially when the finish is poly. Frustrating to think this should be it and then see what you wanted to be the final coat didn't set right. Poly does not touch up well so usually you have to do another coat and hold your breath.

I'm still trying to get proficient with my handplanes... so for me at the moment the nemesis is smooth planing large surfaces - going along fine, everything looking good, then BAM - 1/16" deep tearout someplace. And I break out the random orbit sander again.
