Just to add to the offer on my part -- I could v-groove or ball groove - of do raised letters on a recessed pocket.
I could also do an engraving onto a jewlery box lid (you supply), drawer front, cabinet door.
I have a LOT of patterns - Loon, Eagle - wildlife etc.
Imagination??
I just want a block and tackle - I will pay for shipping in both directions.

Wellll - looks like I just might add a block and tackle to my list of things to make.
Can't be all that hard to make.

Leo - I don't even know what a block and tackle is - so I'm sure I don't have one to offer.
Your signs on the other hand..... that I am interested in - can't settle on a design though.... believe me though - I have you kept in mind!

I've already got two of your engravings...
...but I could make ya up a block & tackle rig. How extreme would you like to lift? One pulley course? Four?

Well, if I was gonna doa shop made rig - I think I would like to make it a shop project.
I am near done with Michelles Dresser.
I don't really need the block and tackle yet. In fact I might not need it for a year or so.
It would be a fun little project.
I have all the machining capacity I need - though I might need to do some of it at work.
Looking at some pics online - they don't look all that hard to make.
Top piece would be 2 pulleys, bottom piece would be one pulley. For what I am going to be doing - one pulley top and one bottom would also work fine.

You wouldn't have to do as much at work if you had one of THESE!!!! And of course, it'd need to be tested by Mr. Beam so we all know it's safe to use. Shouldn't take more than 15 years to make sure it's safe, right Beam?
