I discovered a little tip today while resawing some Mesquite that may be of use to someone else. I was sawing a 1/4" slice off of a 4" tall piece of Mesquite using the 3/4", 3-tpi Woodslicer blade I got from Highland a couple of weeks ago. Since I had moved the stock fence from the previous re-saw position, I used a scrap of 1/4" stock and got the fence moved until the stock was just touching the blade. The guides were set as low as possible for the cut and the DC was running. I started the cut and got about 4 inches into it when I noticed the blade wandering away from the fence. I went about another 2 inches before stopping because the cut was so far off track. I was totally disgusted that the Woodslicer blade had dulled so quickly. It was way worse than the TW blade it replaced. Then I noticed the problem.... The fence was not locked down and had moved as I applied pressure to hold the stock against it. The tip is to always lock down the fence when resawing.

Woops!! Good tip! I can't claim I have never done something like that ... In fact, I may have done exactly that at one time

I had an issue like that when routing today. I use my ts fence and set it up for a cut that fit perfect. Then I did the actual cut and it didn't fit. While trying to figure out what was wrong, I pushed against the fence and found it was moving over with the pressure. Tomorrow I need to tweak the fence again. (pita fence to re-adjust)
