Great looking bowl. I really like Catalpa and you did a fine job with it. There's even a bit of curl to the wood which I've noticed before in Catalpa.

Very nice MR. I especially like the knot in the bottom of the bowl and the little touch of natural edge on two sides of the rim. Picture number 3 is a very nice presentation of the grain lines in the bowl.

Very nice Mike. The simple shape allows the grain to stand out and be noticed.

Thanks guys. Like I said, I got this piece from my local (~ 30 min away) sawyer. I've only been to his place once, but I'll definitely be going back once I've used up everything I bought last time. I bought 5 or 6 pieces - a couple nicely spalted - from him, and he threw one in for free (I think the catapla actually might have been the free one). He and his wife were both super nice.
