TV Cabinet

I needed a cabinet to house the electronics for the TV so I built this thing. I'm not happy with it but it works.

The house is a log cabin...pine exterior, pine walls, pine ceiling, pine floor, pine doors, pine cabinets in the kitchen and now a pine cabinet under the TV. That's what's wrong with it but other than building it out of stone or beer cans it was my only choice. I angled the corners so it wouldn't seem to stick out from the wall so much.
Fred, the wires are run down the inside of the wall and exits at the electricial outlet. I expanded the the opening at the outlet to a 3 gang box and ran a new electricial circuit as well.
My wife likes it so I suppose it'll grow on me. This wasn't inspired...just required. Know what I mean?

I like the cabinet, it blends in so well with the house.

You could not buy that in a store, beside custom made for the space is always a better solution, plus the lady of the house likes it. Case closed.

Yeah, nice cabinet. Besides, from the look on that pooch's face, I think you'd have to fight him/her as well to take it out of there. ;D

The second picture shows it so much better. You did some outstanding work there, and I'd be proud to show it off also!


Now about that dog....what's the deal with the two different colored eyes? Kinda freakin' me out.....
