I like them both Mav. Beautiful wood. Is Argentine OO similar to the native OO? It looks like it could be pretty similar. I know what you mean about the burn lines...it sure makes a lot of smoke and kinda worries you a little don't it? I did my first ones the other day and had to go back and re-do them after I chickened out and quit too soon on the first try I really like the top hat look...I'm going to have to remember that one for sure.

It is similar to the local bois d'arc. both are hard as rocks but polish up pretty. cody sent me a ton of local bois d'arc which I have started a stopper with and they feel about the same just colored a little different
