He was a master. When in grade school, we took a field trip to see him. As you waited in line, he would carve a working pair of pliers and give them to you. Everyone got a pair of pliers. He once said that he had a vision of carving many pliers from 1 log. At the last cut, it was to open like a tree with all of the pliers connected. I believe there may have been 100-200 pliers in the plier tree. Truly amazing. I have followed your work thru many projects, and I am amazed at the work that you have done. Maybe not Smithsonian, but very nice.

Wow, as always you have blown me away. I have always thought in my head how I would build exactly the same project. Except even in my head (much less my shop) it was nowhere near as detailed and nice as what you actually made.
