One - I have a nice free form top that I am working on.... it has a few small.... "pits" for lack of a better term - natural voids...very small but I think I'd like to fill them. Would thick CA glue work? How will the top finish be effected by this?
Two - any one have experience using General Finishes Arm-R-Seal? It says use something like three coats for best results. What is your method? This will be on a coffee table - I was thinking about using the Arm-R-Seal and that's it....no poly. Anyone strongly advise against this? I would wax the top of the table, however.

I had a couple pitch pocks on my cherry end tables that I filled with thick CA - worked great. It soaked in a little bit so it took a couple applications before it was fully filled in.

I use Arm-R-Seal... I love it! It is a Wipe-on finish. In my small Gallery, you will see a Wall Shelf that is finished with Arm-R-Seal... I think I put about 4 coats on it. Very nice STRONG stuff! Easy to wipe on... Very light high grit hand sanding after each coat... no big deal... You will like it! My Small Gallery: www.ncwoodworker.net/pp/showgallery.php?ppuser=1389&cat=500

Thanks Joe - looks good. I have the satin stuff, in general I prefer satin. Hey - I forgot about that TV cabinet/tool box conversion you did. Looks good!
