Don't think I typed what I was meaning into the title....
Was wondering what(if anything) you call your business when your at a Craft Show(or whatever you sell your products at)? I mean if your just sitting there with tons of great turning(or even flat stuff), do you have nothing saying whom you are?
If you have a business name....how did you come by it?

You mean like... PEN-Ultimate? Like Twisted Tyler's Trackside Turnings?
I've got a small business. "Local Tradesman", trademarked in stencil lettering. Been a while since it's been active, though.

My business name is Maverick Woodworks. Our dog's name is Maverick and since I am not very creative when it comes to naming things I thought this one was pretty good, considering I had to come up with something for the tax office/county. Oh and my wife named the dog.

I figured I'd need something so I came up with "Pens and Things" - not real fancy, but it works.
I don't think it needs to be anything crazy.... I like the pet's name idea.

"Rescued Firewood" just happened to me somehow. When I got a lathe I did not know exactly what I was doing and did not want to waste good wood learning how to turn, so I would go out to the woodpile and grab something that looked interesting and put it on the lathe to see what it wanted to be made into. Some of it turned out to be something nice, and thus became "Rescued Firewood". I still rescue a lot of wood that could end up in the stove...we heat with wood almost exclusively, so most of the wood pile still ends up being Ash I needed something to put on my "business card" and that was a cute name, so that is how it happened. What is your's going to be?

I wanted "Sawduster's Wood Works". LOML thought my initials (the real ones) would be better, "GAPWood Wood Works". We compromised, my business cards say "GAPWood". ;D
