Here's one: The BASIN WRENCH. Ever swap out a faucet WITHOUT one? A faucet that didn't ship with pigtail hoses? They're WICKEDLY handy for other things, too... like for example a pipe plug with the corners rounded totally off by a Crescent wrench followed by ChanNelLocks followed by ViseGrips. When you're under a tractor trying to get the water bled out of the transmission in prep for the year's winter, and that basin wrench TAKES that pipe plug, you've just saved yourself the pain of welding a wrench onto the dang thing just to get that first quarter-turn (after which it's gotta' be ground back off). Or... they'll turn a pipe you can't get onto with a Stilson. Or... if flung hard enough at the back of a head, they'll take a mugger flat off his feet, after which they'll assist you in pounding him to a crisp. Or one of those dam drain spanner wrenches for the drain on a bathtub.

My favourite is an ordinary double bewel axe. The best general shaping tool hitherto known to mankind. I use it for just about everything in log house carpentry. I use it for fitting frames and shaping planks when repairing a boat. I use it for all kinds of roughing out operations when making furniture and such. I use it for adjusting joints in carpentry. I sometimes even use it for splitting firewood....... A few hudred years after christ somebody got the bright idea to forge an axe head with a proper eye coned both ways and wedge the handle in. The idea spred northwards. Suddenly people went from bulding simple boats for sheltered waters to building wiking ships that could cross the Atlantic. Since then the concept of a good axe is unchanged.

Beverage Tool Additional features: Suitable for users from the apprentice to the demanding professional. Cushion-Grip handle resists slippage and provides the comfort needed for frequent use. Bottle cap Tip-Ident®, allows for quick identification in tool pouches or crowded drawers. Professionally designed and rigorously tested by an expert team to handle both foreign and domestic applications. High-quality stainless steel construction. I have this tool, it hangs in the kitchen and it is my all time favorite. I would not trade it for anything. It is used evernight when I get home from work and also used on Saturday and Sundays.
