Yeah, no fair opening your presents early! I still don't know what I am getting yet. Those look nice, but I am not familiar with Thompson brand - I'll have to go look them up before I know just how envious to be Merry Christmas! P.S. What wood are you going to use when you turn the handles?

I got these from cathy clause (my mother), she came through town yesterday morning on her way to her sisters house and delivered our gifts. I have a couple of white oak logs that I will make handles for them. Doug I have 1 bowl gouges already and I use it more than any other tool. Which is why I asked santa for more. They are cryogenically treated steel. Sharp as all get out and they stay sharp for a long time. roughly 50 bucks each, not too tough on the wallet.
